EU Commission publish guidelines to support safe water reuse

The EU Commission has recently published the Minimum requirements for water reuse – guidelines to support safe water reuse for agricultural irrigation. Since severe droughts are rapidly increasing, reusing water from urban wastewater treatment plants is essential to ensure safe water while preserving our water bodies and enhancing the EU’s ability to adapt to climate change.
