The AquaSPICE project hosted its third Community of Practice event on Friday, 15 November, focusing on advancing the principles of Circular Economy in the water sector. Held in Bacău, North-Eastern Romania, this gathering united researchers, students, and industry experts to address critical water management challenges and explore innovative, sustainable solutions.

The event’s discussions centered on reducing water usage, promoting water reuse, and improving efficiency in both industrial and community contexts. Participants engaged in hands-on workshops and collaborative problem-solving sessions, exchanging ideas and best practices for building resilient water systems.

This milestone event underscores AquaSPICE’s commitment to empowering communities and industries to embrace circular water management approaches. By fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing, we aim to minimize waste, optimize resources, and significantly reduce environmental impacts—because in Bacău, every drop counts.

The event was organised by the team from the Business Development Group Romania: Vasile Alecsandri University, Narcis Bîrsan, and Oana Irimia.
