On June 2, 2024, the Technical University of Crete in Chania will host the AQUASPICE Info-Day event, co-organized with Water Europe in the context of AquaSPICE Summer School. This significant gathering aims to become a cornerstone in discussions about sustainable water management, bringing together a diverse group of EU-funded projects. Researchers, industry experts, policymakers, and innovators will unite to explore and advance the future of circular water use and foster a Water-Smart Society.
The event will spotlight several key projects, including Aquaspice, iWays, IntelWatt, AccelWater, Ultimate, and Cardimed. Each project will present its unique achievements, challenges, and future perspectives through compelling case studies, pilots, and demo-sites. These presentations will highlight innovative solutions and advancements in resource efficiency.
A panel discussion will follow, where all speakers will reconvene to explore synergies, common obstacles, and future developments in sustainable water management. The audience will also have the opportunity to engage with the speakers through interactive Q&A sessions, fostering a collaborative environment aimed at driving forward the vision of a Water-Smart Society.
