The Business Development Group Romania successfully presented groundbreaking results from the AquaSPICE project at SC Agricola International S.A. Bacau during the AquaCircular Conference, held in Timisoara. Organized by the Aquademica Foundation, Aquatim S.A., and various partners, the conference highlighted key innovations in sustainable water management.
The AquaSPICE project focuses on optimizing water reuse in industries, with a particular emphasis on sustainable practices in the food sector. This initiative aims to launch industrial symbiosis in Romania, a model where industries collaborate to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency, ultimately promoting a cleaner, more resilient future.
Presentations by Nicoleta Frunza and Ciprian Nanu of the Business Development Group underscored the importance of creating efficient and environmentally friendly solutions for the region. Both partners are committed to advancing cleaner, more sustainable practices in collaboration with regional stakeholders.
Looking ahead, discussions on water reuse and sustainability will continue at the upcoming 3rd Community of Practice, scheduled for November 14th, 2024, in Bacau.
This event marks a significant step forward in Romania’s journey toward sustainability, particularly in the industrial and food sectors. Many thanks to all participants and partners for contributing to this important milestone.
