On February 28, 2025, the AquaSPICE project participated in the “Circular Economy: Examples and Best Practices – Water Reuse in the Food Industry” workshop, organized by the University of Agriculture and Life Sciences in Iași (USAMV), Romania. This event brought together 60 participants to discuss innovative approaches to sustainable water management in the agri-food sector.
Dr. Nicoleta Frunza (S.C. Agricola Bacău) presented the AquaSPICE pilot results from Agricola’s operational phase, showcasing real-world applications of water reuse strategies. The session was moderated by Dr. Frunza alongside Dr. Cristina Simeanu (USV Iași, FIRAA), fostering an engaging discussion on industrial water efficiency.
This workshop served as an important dissemination activity for AquaSPICE, contributing to the broader dialogue on circular economy principles in industrial water use.
