AquaSPICE paper will be presented at the IISA2023 conference, coming up on the 10-12 July at the University of Thessaly, Volos, Greece. The title of the paper is: “A Graph-based Approach for Representing Water Treatment Process Knowledge”. The paper describes a digital representation of knowledge related to industrial water treatment processes, with an aim of supporting knowledge querying. To this end, available industrial knowledge about physical and logical entities and their interrelations and interactions have been reviewed, processed, and organized as a Knowledge Graph. Production, operational and meta information, including targets, and quality/performance criteria have also been represented. As a result, the KG can enable the integration of heterogeneous, even unstructured – data from diverse sources (sensors, databases, enterprise resource planning systems (ERPs), etc.), enabling knowledge and data searches and querying.
IISA2023 is the fourteenth conference in the IISA series, technically co-sponsored by IEEE. The IISA conference series has become an international forum for researchers and professionals in all areas of Information, Intelligence, Systems and Applications having the goal of developing methodologies and tools for the solution of complex problems in artificial intelligence, biology, neuroscience, security, monitoring, surveillance, healthcare, sustainability in energy sources, governance, education, commerce, automation, robotics, optimization, image, speech and natural languages, and their integration.
