On the 17th of March 2023, AquaSPICE project completed another successful Technical Workshop, in the port of Antwerp. The workshop was hosted by BASF, Ghent University and VITO. Here, partners visited the IMPROVED Containers, deployed in the BASF Antwerp’s site, where AquaSPICE host its Case Study #3.
The CS#3 is divided in two subcases with clearly different objectives:
– Sub-case 1.Antwerp harbour and Albert Canal – with focus on water quality monitoring and operational modelling
– Sub-case 2. Water reuse and cooling water – with focus on water reuse and alternative water sources for cooling.
